Follow the rippling waters of Sungai Relau and Sungai Kalong as the rivers wind their way through Taman Negara National Park.
Take in the sights and smells of the jungle as you glide deeper into the world's oldest rainforest. Away from the trails, these trips offer some of the best opportunities for spotting the elusive wildlife of Malaysia's jungles, a little luck is needed of course, but past expeditions have encountered elephants, otters and gibbons amongst other animals.
Malaysia's rainforest rivers can be unpredictable but our experienced guides and safety precautions will ensure you are safe throughout your adventure.
There are two options of canoeing packages; day trips are perfect for families with no rapids and only gently flowing water you can explore the river at your own pace, Longer 3-day fishing expeditions include exciting rides over cascading rapids, crossing Jeram Buta (Blind Rapids) where you may well find yourself taking an early bath!

Licences must be obtained prior to fishing expeditions so please ensure you book early for the 3 day 2 night trip.
1 Day Trip
Glide gently downstream from Sungai Relau until it meets Sungai Kalong at your own pace. Your guide will advise you about the best spots to take a refreshing swim in the crystal clear waters. You will break for lunch in these picturesque surroundings and can pause to rest whenever you feel tired. Soak in the sensations of the jungle, listen to the chorus of birds and insects while you look out for wildlife on the river banks.
3 day 2 night Fishing Expedition
An exciting canoeing and fishing extravoganza that will take you deeper into pristine jungle. With all your camping gear waterproofed and safely secured in your guides' canoes, you will set out from Kuala Kalong to follow this river until it meets Sungai Yu in the wildlife corridor. You will pause for fishing along the way and your catches will be stored in ice to keep them fresh. In the evenings as you set up your jungle camp, our chef will prepare some of the tastiest meals you will ever eat in the forest!
In order to conserve fish stocks in Taman Negara, only fish that are above 1kg may be kept, smaller catches must be released.
